What is the right to opt out?
Under the privacy laws of California and other states, residents hold the right to opt out of both the sale and the sharing of their personal information. Every one of those laws gives “sale” and “sharing” its own legal meaning, and the right follows that meaning.
How do I opt out?
E-mail is the simplest way: write to office@archwoodheatingac.com, say that you are opting out of sale and sharing, and give your name plus the e-mail or telephone number you used before, so we can look you up in our records. No account is needed and there is no charge. If you would rather talk, call (216) 625-0420.
What happens after I ask?
Expect a confirmation from us, and we will honor the request within the time allowed by law. We keep our questions to the minimum that finding your records takes.
What if someone acts for me?
You can also let an authorized agent ask on your behalf. The agent needs permission signed by you first.
Does my browser’s privacy signal count?
Some browsers and extensions can send a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Where applicable law requires it, we accept that signal as an opt-out request for the browser that sends it.
Will I be treated differently?
Archwood Heating & AC will not charge you more or serve you any differently because you opted out.
